Towngate Theatre is an exciting and lively regional theatre based in Basildon, Essex, where we welcome over 100,000 theatregoers through our doors each year. The theatre has recently re-opened to live performances and is about to embark on a busy pantomime season.
The Towngate Theatre are looking for hardworking individuals to join the Catering Team in the smooth running of all day to day operations of our in house café and bar. As a casual catering assistant, you will be able to manage the efficient delivery of the café and bar service within the theatre. You may be the first point of call for customers and your primary goal is to give them an excellent audience experience by being welcoming, helpful, accurate, timely, and knowledgeable.
Training will be provided to ensure our service quality and food hygiene expectations is maintained. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking for a flexible, fast paced and fun role to fit around their lifestyle. A willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential.
